Forage In The Forest

Forage In The Forest follows a witch living in the woods and her quest to gather flowers and mushrooms to cook up good stuff in her cauldron.
However, The woods and the surrounding lands are full of creatures that don't like witches.
Thankfully, you can also cook up their insides in your cauldron!
When you're in the shadows you switch into shadow form and can use the dark energies to cast magic. If it's too bright around you you'll have to rely on your staff to beat creatures up!
Dashing, Casting and Melee attacks all make you out of breath - run away and wait a minute to get your breath back!
Putting out campfires not only gives you more darkness, it allows you to resume play from that zone, with stats and gathered ingredients intact.
If you interact with a campfire you've already put out you are warped back to your hut.
Warping will reset all areas and enemies!
You can heal from your cauldron any time.
Collect enough ingredients and your stats increase!
If you die out in the woods, your ingredients bag will be left where you fell, retrieve it before you die again or they'll be lost forever!
Future Intent:
At the moment the Magic Defense stat is pointless to invest in, I was hoping to have a second zone done before the submission date with more magically focused enemies.
My original plan was for 4 zones at each compass point with a boss in each. the concepts are drawn up, the time did not allow.
I also want to put in unique weapons / ability upgrades after beating a boss to give you extra incentive to take them on.

I did have to bust out the controller for this one, but managed to get the boss. So pretty, all the art is great. I love your cauldron.
Lots of mechanics implemented, and I like that darkness is the beneficial thing instead of light. Great job!
